Mladenka completed her Master’s degree at Pepperdine University and is currently pursuing a Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology at the California School of Professional Psychology (CSPP), with an emphasis on Health Psychology. She is practicing as a Registered Psychological Associate, under the supervision of Dr. Maxwell Trzcinski.  

With a diverse professional journey spanning various therapeutic environments, Mladenka has amassed a wealth of experience. She has worked extensively in intensive outpatient (IOP) and partial hospitalization (PHP) programs, as well as community mental health and outpatient clinics. Within these settings, she has developed specialized expertise in addressing a wide spectrum of mental health challenges, ranging from Psychotic Disorders to Neurodevelopmental Disorders.

In her therapeutic approach, Mladenka adopts a holistic perspective that acknowledges the interconnectedness of mind, body, and spirit. She integrates evidence-based techniques such as Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), alongside Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR) for trauma resolution. Through this approach, she strives to empower clients to tap into their innate resilience and strengths as they embark on their healing journey.

Central to Mladenka’s practice is her belief in the transformative power of collaborative and client-centered care. She works closely with each individual to co-create tailored treatment plans that honor their unique experiences and goals. Grounded in principles of resilience, compassion, and empowerment, her approach seeks to foster holistic well-being and facilitate lasting positive change in the lives of her clients.

Mladenka’s professional interests are underscored by her dedication to serving Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) populations and individuals managing complex medical conditions such as Type I and II Diabetes. Her research endeavors have included investigations into the impact of photobiomodulation on mitochondrial development in children diagnosed with ASD, offering valuable insights into potential therapeutic interventions. Furthermore, her experience as a Behavior Therapist has equipped her with invaluable skills in supporting families navigating the complexities of ASD.
